As the year 2020 came to a close, the fitness and weight loss app market in Latin America showed a diverse range of user engagement across various applications on the iOS platform. Below is a summary of how the top five apps performed in Q4, according to data provided by Sensor Tower.

Zepp Life (Formerly MiFit), despite having no recorded revenue, maintained a steady increase in weekly active users, ending the quarter with around 647K users. Downloads peaked in the week of December 21 with approximately 36K new downloads.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike saw its revenue fluctuate across the quarter, starting with around $37K in the last week of September and settling at roughly $27K by the end of December. The app's weekly active users experienced a slight increase, ending the year with over 358K active users. Downloads, however, showed a declining trend with nearly 16K downloads in the last week of December.

Home Workout - No Equipments generated consistent revenue, with a notable number of around $2K in the last week of December. The app's downloads showed a dip towards the end of the quarter, with over 10K downloads in the last week of December. Weekly active users saw a slight uptick to end the quarter with approximately 119K active users.

Kompanion: At Home Workouts experienced a rise in revenue, with the most significant weekly revenue recorded at nearly $3.5K in mid-December. Downloads saw a peak in the week of November 23, with almost 40K downloads, but ended the quarter with a lower figure of around 3K downloads. Active users surged to over 35K in November but dropped to approximately 6K by the end of December.

Lastly, FunDo Pro had no reported revenue but saw its weekly active users reach over 27K in the third week of December. The app's downloads recorded a high of over 16K in the same week.
